Subsea control system for RLWI vessel 

Innova delivered a complete subsea control system for a customer’s Riserless Light Well Intervention (RLWI) system, developed in close collaboration with the client to meet demanding offshore requirements. The project encompassed design, production, and rigorous testing of a robust and flexible system tailored for vessel-based interventions.

The solution includes a Subsea Hydraulic Power Unit (SHPU) capable of delivering grease and water based fluids at pressures up to 690 bar, along with integrated valve packs, transformers, gateways, sensors, and a comprehensive cable infrastructure. This modular and scalable system ensures precise control and monitoring of subsea operations, enhancing both safety and efficiency.

By enabling RLWI operations from a vessel rather than a traditional rig, the system significantly reduces operational costs and mobilization time. Operators benefit from improved flexibility and faster deployment, allowing for efficient well access and intervention without the need for heavy rig infrastructure. The control system’s intuitive interface and reliable performance contribute to smoother workflows and reduced downtime, supporting safer and more sustainable offshore operations.
