MicroMatrix Integration with Voyis Stereo Camera

Innova’s MicroMatrix was successfully integrated into multiple subsea systems utilizing the Voyis Discovery Stereo Camera, enabling compact, high-performance imaging solutions for subsea applications. 

Challenge 

The main challenge was ensuring reliable power delivery and stable data communication for a high-performance stereo camera within a compact subsea footprint. This required efficient integration while minimizing system complexity and potential failure points. 

Solution 

Innova provided a compact interface and control module designed for seamless integration, featuring: 

• High-density power distribution and data handling in a small form factor 

• A dedicated 24 VDC output channel (up to 10 A) supporting peak camera power demands 

• Close physical integration to reduce cabling and improve system reliability 

The system enables stable power delivery and deterministic data transfer, eliminating the need for additional power conditioning. 

Result 

A compact and robust imaging solution that simplifies integration, reduces system complexity, and ensures reliable operation—supporting high-resolution subsea survey, inspection, and mapping tasks.
