The mechanical accumulator is a spring-loaded cylinder for adding pressure to a hydraulic loop.
Description
Stacked disc springs are used to optimize the overall size and provides a large volume with added pressure. The spring-loaded mechanical accumulator can be used for adding pressure to hydraulic lines, for instance to a spring failsafe cylinder. Also, it can be used as pressure compensator or reservoir.
The product is made from Super Duplex material, and the springs from Inconel, which gives high grade of corrosion resistance. The spring stack can be increased to gain more volume or more pressure if desired. The tool can be mounted with pedestal or clamps, and also be configured for project specification.
