Scorpion Oceanics connectors – 400 Series

The 400 Series are high performance, high density, electrical and optical dry-mate connectors for deep submergence applications.

Description

With high contact density in a compact package, the ‘420 Series’ incorporates a metal shell as the primary pressure barrier with two O-ring seals protecting the mated contacts. The ‘455 Series’ connector combines the Dual sealing technology of the standard 400 series with the interface of the ‘550 series’ FCR. The ‘472 Series’ allows for bespoke interconnection requirements with the ability to choose between electrical and fibre optic contacts in each standard shell pair.

455 Series

The ‘455 Series’ connector combines the Dual sealing technology of the standard 400 series with the interface of the ‘550 series’ FCR. The primary signal path is carried through an impedance matched 75 ohm coaxial contact enabling HD through-put for the latest camera and data transmission requirements. The connector also allows for 6 electrical feed-throughs on individual 22 AWG contacts.
